In a culture where everything is freedom of speech? Are there any consequences to pornography? Does pornography lead to sex, meaning is it the gateway to sex?

I myself am a big fan of porn. I tossed most of my porn when I moved in with my girlfriend, all except for one dvd and a couple of crappy Girls Gone Wild dvd's that were a waste of money. So I don't have much in the way of it anymore, but I still like it. My girlfriend doesn't and that causes me much consternation.

Porn does not make you a pervert. Man has been creating pornography in different forms since they learned how to do cave paintings. There's this great documentary on HBO called Pornucopia: Going Down in the Valley about the porn industry today, how it's evolved and how it got started. There's some crazy stuff they show, video clips n'such, of porn movies that were made in the early 1900's, when motion pictures were first invented, and it's just as graphic as anything we do today. Anyone of those women or men could be our great grandparents. It's kind of weird.

porn, violent movies, profanity, etc does not lead to anything but fun. there actually aren't any good studies that suggest they make you violent...but there WAS an article in the economist that found no correlation to video games and violence in chilldren.

i am not a fan of watching bukakke films...but the grossest thing is when they do an*l and then afterwards she has to bl*w him.
all i can think about is how grossed out she must be to be tasting her own overdigested dinner.
