I've used grocerymall.net for ordering food online for several years. They are the only source of frozen peas and Swiss cheese that I know of. Today I got the news that they have closed down.
I'm in a mild state of panic.
I know there used to be one or two other sites for those of us living out in the boonies to order food online. However, since I used this one, I don't have the addresses for the others.
Does anyone have any online addresses for frozen/refrigerated food?
(Just to reinforce the idea of where I live: to get to the Red Door in Itaewon, I would have to ride a bus for an hour, get on the KTX and ride for two more hours, and then switch to the subway. It just isn't practical to do very often.)
And frozen peas are so tasty in stir fries and gumbo and chicken and noodle soup, etc. |

EDIT: they don't appear to have frozen peas, there sorry.
Grocerymall.net is still up and there's no notice of it closing online though. |

You are obviously not a pea lover. There is a BIG difference between canned peas and frozen peas.
Pea lover. |

Lote in Daegu (Daegu Station) has an excellent assortment of cheeses (at extremely inflated prices) and a limited selection of spices (six or so: Oregano, Basil, Thyme, Rosemary, Parsley etc.), plus several 'eclectic' imported items... I bought spices. |

| Carrefour has frozen veggies...not sure about peas (which I would only eat if forced...IF a weapon was involved!!). And Emmenthal is pretty darned close to Swiss...they have that too! |

Yeah, I know. I sent in an order and got a call last night from them saying they are no longer in business and that they were returning my money.
Thanks for the address and the other info, guys. Much appreciated.
Maybe there is someone in Pusan/Changwon who knows the location of that which I seek.
(I know just how ajuma feels about peas. That's how I feel about mixed veggies. Cauliflower and broccoli are things that make me contemplate starvation before eating.) |

There's also http://www.wellcook.com but I don't know if they have frozen peas.
Personally, I think http://yoricome.com is the best (for online shopping). Too bad Costco doesn't deliver like they do in Alaska. |

Ah, but I think that means that when you shop at the store, they'll deliver what you buy to your house (like most of the stores here do).
What I'm talking about is the service they have in Alaska, where you order from one of the remote villages and they ship it out to you. Not that there are any remote villages here, but for those of use who aren't in close proximity to a Costco, it'd be nice. |
