Does anybody have any suggestions for this coming January? I'll have about 9 days off and the gf and I are planning to travel to a nearby country for maybe 5 days.
We are thinking about going in the middle of January, before the Chinese New Year kicks in. We were thinking about Hong Kong or Guam or some place like that but Guam will be filled with Koreans I've heard. Any ideas? |

Wherever you go, don't get a package tour. They will keep you on a predetermined route that will 'just happen' to include whopping at all their friends' stores, and you will eat only safely Korean food.
Otherwise, you can't go wrong. It's a big world out there. |

Thanks for the advice. I'll be doing some winter camp stuff and I'll have 7 working days off. Thinking about going on a holiday for about 5 or 6 days and then relaxing for the rest of the time at home. My co teacher said that I can take nearly 3 weeks off (14 working days) but I want to save some of that for the summer so that I can go back home. I'll get about 3 and a half weeks then if I renew my contract. That's if GEPIK doesn't screw with me! |
