|
|
i've developed a wart on the pointer finger of my right hand, and instead of flipping my students the bird when pointing at something, i'd rather just get the sucker lopped off and go back to pointing with the correct finger.
can i go to any dermatologist and get this laser thing done? is it cheap?
i've heard you can do it with the application of duct tape for a long time (strange but true), but don't wanna walk around with a silver finger for 2 months.
thanks,

I'd go with the duct tape, dude. I had a plantar's wart (on the sole of my foot, felt like I was walking around with a stone in my shoe) and did the duct tape thing. It totally worked.
It's my understanding that other removal methods (freezing, laser, etc.) are expensive and there are often recurrences. Sure, I can understand how you wouldn't want to walk around with duct tape on your index finger, but you could always put a band aid over it.
Here's a question for you guys: do you think that green Korean duct tape would do the trick, or does it have to be the standard Western grey? Different active ingredients and all that - kinda like the special Korean 4 seasons? |

Well my experience is that he's excellent. I had a big problem with acne that several western doctors gave me some pills and told me 'I'd get over it.' After treatment with him I get the odd spot during 'girl time' and that's about it. He even cleaned up the scarring.
My friends who have gone have also bene more than happy with him. |

Check out this site which is great for information about plantars warts... I'm positive that little would vary regarding treatment of a wart by it's placement on your body.
BTW, you can get those acid blotch bandaids at any pharmacy. |
