Hey all,
Like many of you my bike has become essential.
I ride every day. Keepin warm up top isnt that tough. Just got my oven mitts for my handlebars so got that covered now.
Problems are the legs. I wanna pick up somehting waterproof/resistant oveall style pants. I used to snap on my track pants, but that isnt gonna cut it. But something I can quickly get in and out of, when I get to class then quickly when I leave again.
Boots, Id like to get some hikers that are comfortable, warm and water resistant.
Problem with me, Im a big guy, have never been able to go to the department stores. Ive seen those hiking stores, havent gone in yet, but assuming Ill have problems.....
Ideas? Im sure there is alot out there, just dont have alot of time these days to be fumbling around in random stores,
Thanks |

I used to have the same problem and never solved it till I bought a car.
The question I always asked and failed to answer: Is it better to ride slowly and lose heat more slowly but over a longer period of time, or go fast and lose the heat quickly? Any physicists in the crowd? |

| Get some ski-pants from Itaewon. There is a place that used to sell them for about 30,000 won. It was across the street from the McDonalds, but closer to the Itaewon subway station. The Universal Travel place used to be in there, but they have moved. It was a store on the ground floor, anyway. The store was "set in" a bit from the rest of the buildings, and was in a big larger building. Ski pants are what a lot of the Korean guys buy. You don't need to worry about rubberized water-proof, as it's not going to be raining in the winter. And ski pants pull on and off easily. Don't waste 150,000 won on the ski pants for motorcyclers. The only difference is that they stick some knee protection in them. |
