It's coming out in a week or so....back home. Will they have it at Yongsan, or are my only options having my family send it to me or downloading it via bittorrent? |

I don't know but I, like you, am feeling the pain of waiting for the last few days. Sid Meier is a god. If I worshop him on my knees and burn spirit money will he send me Civ4 a few days early???
The worst fear I have about losing my job (as my hagwon seems to be going bankrupt) is that I won't be able to justify purchasing the new computer I might have to get for Civ4! |

LOL...I bought a new one a couple of months ago....not "specifically" for this game, but in the back of my mind, I was aware that it was coming and I'd need a better computer to play it. |

ONE MORE TURN! ONE MORE TURN! ONE MORE TURN!
It looks like this will be the best one ever. They even got Lenord Nimoy to do a voice over for tech advances! |

This site checks to see if your computer can handle it or any other games out there. |

I'll build a new one for fun, and the side-benefit will be the ability to play almost any game easily. Including this one. And since I loved the earlier Civs, this will be the game for me.

Is that the game where you build civilizations, or the one where you attack them? |

Ah, it's the one where you attack civilizations. Thanks, got it.
What's the one where you build civilizations, entire cities and infrastructure and the like?
(It's been a few years since I've played computer games but that game I really liked, so when I saw the new version of "Civilization" was coming out, I thought it might be that, but isn't.) |

no, you definitely build and only sometimes attack. My most sucessful runs had no fighting, just science |

Really? The linked pages show a lot of fighting.
I was thinking of a game which has no war but did have fires, earthquakes and the like. Do you recall what it was called? (Is an old game I admit. I played it over a decade ago.) |
