I just bought this stuff to clean my bathroom (hence the pictures of the bathroom). I really need to clean tonight and I can't read Korean well enough to translate everything.

It's an LG product in a mint green bottle. I want to post a pic of it, but I can't even figure that out right now. It's called Glitter Glitter Homestar Bathroom Dragon. And yes, I'm using a dictionary and I can read the Hangul; I know this translation is correct

So I have two questions:

1) Do I need to wear gloves?

2) Do I need to mix it with water?

Thanks

Heh... OK, you got most of the translation right, but the in this context means "use" () not "dragon" (). Bathroom Dragon definitely sounds cool, though. You could recommend that to LG's overseas marketing department. Very Happy

Anywhoo, as luck has it that's the same bathroom cleaner I use and my hands haven't fallen off yet. It's about as harsh as Soft Scrub from back home, you don't need gloves, just squirt some on your sink, floor, whatever and scrub with a wet brush or scrubby and don't forget to use some Elbow Grease (TM).

Now stop surfing Dave's and clean your bathroom already!

Hey! Thanks so much! Maybe I can get a dragon to clean my bathroom. Somehow. But on another note: why is this translation "use" and NOT "Dragon"?

From context it makes sense. gets used a lot on packages to mean "use". There's also a ֹ (kitchen use). There are over 30 Chinese characters that have the sound , but since they only show the phonetic alphabet (thank god) most of the time, you can only really guess from context.

Sorry if all this sounds pedantic, BTW.

It looks like you're studying as hard as you clean your bathroom and that's awesome. You'll be glad you did.

I always wear gloves on the off chance that I actually do any cleaner (we have a cleaner...).. but I am a woman and I like to keep my hands nice and smooth. Believe me, those hands have received many compliments.

Anyway... beside the point here. Don't dilute it with water - just use it straight on the object, scrub it a bit, then rinse with the shower or something. It is, as Son Deureo says, rather weak. If you dilute it, you might as well be using your shower gel or something Razz.
