| I lived in Estonia for a bit in 1998, but being a country of 1.4 million people Estonian's not the most useful language outside of the country. Any Estonians here in Seoul? Pm me if you are/know one, I'd love to set up a language exchange (Estonian for Korean/Japanese)... |

Do you want to go back there? What were you doing there?
Damn- how many languages are you trying master, Mith?
Don't know if it'll help, but my friend is working on her PhD at Cambridge, and there is an Estonian in her program. You could maybe have a penpal! |

Estonian's a language I started a long time ago (1998) and never finished. Where do you use it besides Wikipedia, Postimees and a few other places? That's why it's so hard to learn, you have to really go out of your way to find it.
For writing I can always do stuff on Wikipedia but it's been ages since I've spoken it. Thanks though, periwinkle. Good to hear that there are some people that like it. I love the sound of it. |
