Which bar has the best guiness in Itaewon, and can pour it properly?
I found a place in Seoul called "O'Kim's". Irish-Korean Kyopo, maybe?
That was cute. |

Has to be the 3 Alleys.
O'Kims's is a cute name for an Irish bar in Korea but the price of their Guinness isn't cute |

Gecko's do a good pint of Guinness, though still a tad expensive at 8.000Won a pint |

While we are on the topic of beer, I recently tried Franziskaner Weissen and Erdinger Weissen Kristall with a slice of lemon and I have to say that they are both top-quality beers. I seriously recommend them both. |

I reckon 3A too: the throughput is great so it's always fresh. And the pipes are cleaned. And reasonable price - by Guinness standards.
Still not as good as in Ireland tho'. |

Anyone mind telling me what is this "British Club"?
I am British. Why don't I know? I want to know when,
where, who, why?

It's at The Embassy, near City Hal, in the Broughton Room and is open on Fridays from around 5pm till about 10pm.
It's not really a "Club" in the usually accepted sense. You have to be invited by a member and to join, you need to be sponsored - it is free. They have a small selection of British Beers (used to be more) including Bishop's Finger. |

i'm rather fond of the guinness downstairs at the nashville. i have no idea how it stands as authentic guinness but out of all the guinness in seoul it reminds me most of the guinness back home. i actually like it more than the guinness at gecko's, and it's 2000 won cheaper, i think. |

Any bars/pubs in Seoul serve up a nice pint of Caffreys or Murphys? |

I had one at 3AP 2 weeks ago and it's still KW 7,000. That's the cheapest I've paid for a "decent" pint in Seoul. |

We had this thread somewhere else. I also voted for 3ap, but got shot down by somebody saying it was a bit watery. I have since been on guard for this, and me and my mate can say for sure, that yes, 3ap is a bit watery, but still not bad. Geokos seems to be a tad bit better, yet you are paying a tad bit more. six and one half, dozen the other |
