Where can it be done? I've heard there's one or two places in Hongdae. People's apartments don't count. And how late are these places open?

I heard that there's a place up in Itaewon that gives free lessons. Check out Seoul Classified magazine.

Yep, Thursday nights. I read it in K-Scene. Wish I could go.

I'm surprised that it has caught on over here, because my students tell me that "salsa" sounds like the Korean world for "poo."

yes, salsa means "poo" yummy.
just in case, i learnt some of those dances in the USA, and I found here that they are quite different, so if you are American, you are warned...
