curling gets surprisingly good ratings. why? some say it's because most people who like the sport actually tune in: a devoted fan base of mostly amateur players
controversy? drug testing of course: a u.s. olympian already was found with a banned substance this week in ice hockey (berard). |

Berard wasn't selected for the US Olympic team...he was in 2002. |

every olympic team in ice hockey is allowed three last-minute replacements (just before the tourney - the infamous "taxi squad" it's being dubbed, a concession Gretzky won for the teams) - Berard won't be one of them now, that's for sure!! |
