We all know that when it comes to Friday/Saturday nightlife in Suwon there isn't much to offer. Korean style nightclubs and hofs are pretty much what it comes down to...that and a super lame expat bar in Yongtong.
Nammun is the one area that used to hold it down with some sick parties in the past. It's been pretty tame there until recently a newish club called 911 has the best thing going.
911 is a hip-hop club in Nammun that is tight with the Suwon skateboard community. Every Friday and Saturday they are holding "drunken parties." 3 or 4 times during the night they open the bar up for half an hour and have free shots of tequila and jacks and coke.
You wont' find a better party in Suwon.

Cool. I will check it out when I arrive. I will be teaching at Camp Korea and then hopfully at Kyonggi University.
On another note could you tell me if there is a Western Union in Suwon? |
