I have an Australian appliance, and it seems the only way I can get it to work is to have the adapter that its plugged into hanging ever-so-slightly out of the power point.
Nice 'n dangerous...
Anyone have similar issues with Australian voltage plugs and power points?
Is there a safer way? |

No advice here, but I have exactly the same problem. It usually takes a lot of manoeuvring and propping things up for me to get any power. |

Sounds very strange!
I have an Australian gameboy and the adaptor is plugged through a worldwide travel adaptor and works without any problems. Though i did used to have problems across Oz charging my UK devices (varying voltage across oz maybe?)
Maybe its the item your trying to get to work, can you get a replacement korean cable/adaptor for your devices? as leaving them hanging out might short out and blow whatever is connected up, so be careful folks!

I had the problem with the adapter hanging out and often disconnecting which was a nuisance as it was my laptop on it. I solved this by getting a power board with a socket for a wide plug. Its a 4 plug adapter. Not everywhere..hunt around. Cost about 12,000. |

Yep, that's my 'appliance'. I'm always losing power on my laptop because I don't notice the thing is unplugged. |
