People lying dead in the street while others stroll on by. Inmates at a concentration camp carting their sh*t in buckets to grow vegetables to feed their guards. The banner over the hellhole reading " Give up your life for Kim Jong Il".

I understand that we are probably only shown the worst of NK. But, does there exist "a good side" up there?

Why isn't this video shown on the Korean yahoo newspage?

I've seen some of these before.

I think this package is a trailer for what CNN has on Sunday:

Concentration camps.... hmmm that's like most of the retail stores all over the country such as Walmart and Kmart.

Entire families are sent to concentration camps where they toil for many years in appalling conditions. Many die, or are killed. You compared their suffering to people who work in a large retail outlet. You are an idiot.

I would be willing to bet that most Americans couldn't care less about North Korean concentration camps

Probably true. Most South Koreans apparantly don't either.

The soaps show expose the global famine they see on state-run TV for the fiction that it is. Remember that most North Koreans know very little about the world outside. Defectors to the South are shocked to see so many cars, TVs, cellphones and food within easy reach of ordinary people. So yeah, South Korean soaps are a danger to the Kim regime.

Whilst I certainly don't support the reunification of Korea, I'd love to see Kim Jong Il's severed head presented to me on a silver platter. We should televize his torture and desperately slow death. That's true justice.
