that airfares are so much higher when you want to stay in a place for more than a month?
I am looking to go to Hong Kong next Jan for a couple of months and it's twice the cost for a ticket that is only valid for 15 days.
I am going to wait until late December to get my ticket. |

Yes, it's a real pain. My ticket to Bangkok was a touch over a million. I could have got something for less than a month for about 400,000 easily. |

Same here.. paid for one-year open to Manila for 711,000.. but for 15 days would have been around 440,000.. |

Wouldnt it be cheaper to buy 2 singles, then? |

Couldn't buy the second single this far in advance since they don't know the February prices yet. |

I flew to Thailand on a one-way ticket. NO problems with the airline or immigration or anything. I assume it would be cheaper to buy another one-way ticket back to Korea from this end, rather than from the Korean end.
Besides, as is well-noted by now, Korean travel agents are awful and best avoided when possible. |
