I know this question has probably been asked a million times but I hate the search function and therefore I'm going to ask anyway.
What is the easiest way to get a cell phone and which is better, pre-paid or post-paid. I was planning on getting one online through one of two sites I've seen (www.itkorea4u.com and www.buythekorea.com) but the first one is currently under investigation and the second one focuses on 24 month plans with one 12 month plan through SKT but requires 200,000 deposit. I know the deposit is common but with LGT there is none. Also I would still have to find a cell phone place to get a charger.
Anyone know of any other online sites? Recommendations for company and post or pre paid? Anyone know of any foreigner friendly cell phone shops in Ulsan?
Thanks. |

Can't help except that finding a Korean cell phone shop (for a charger or any other reason) is one of the easiest things to do in Korea. I've also seen chargers in corner stores like GS25. |

You know what, yes the search function here is a pain, BUT just google your query and you will come up with a thread in any number of forums.
Your question has been asked and answered a thousand times. All depends if you need one before you have your ARC card and bank account, how many people you might be calling, how much you want to spend, how cool/expensive a phone you need and do you want to avoid a monthly bill or pay on the run. We can't answer that for you. Only you can. Don't worry, you can do it. If you made it here, you can get a phone. Good luck |
