OK...got my tix...going to Singapore. Just a quick question(s)...all people who have been to both Thailand and Malaysia....

We plan on taking the train up to KL, spending a day there, heading up to Hat Yai and then Phuket....we will then make it back to Sing somehow for a big ol' NYE party and a binge-fest in Little India....All in all, we have about eleven days when you count out travelling and the day in KL.

So here's the Q:

Should we stay the whole time in Thailand and do Phuket, Phan Nga, Phi Phi, Krabi and diving...etc etc etc...or should we cut it a couple days short and head over by ferry to Lankawi or whatever west coast Malaysian place is cool (east side, has BAD weather @ this time) and chill there?

We just want beautiful scenery, beautiful beaches, jungles, natural chill stuff....what do you recommend?

all comments welcome and really really appreciated.

Thanks!
