I want to study Korean, but I`m only interested in studying one or two days a week. Is anyone studying anywhere that they would reccommend? I live in Itaewon, and am hoping that I don't have to travel far, but that may be hoping for too much. Also, I want to start beginning of december, but most of the sites I've seen have a starting date for January or later.
let me know! |

I study twice a week at a school in Gwanghwamun. They are very flexible about how any hours you can study for too, so you could probably arrange to have just one class a week. You can study on a one to one basis, or in a class with other students. You can send them an e-mail at [email protected]. Alternatively, you can check out their website at
www.ltrc.co.kr. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. |

If you're a total beginner, OP, you could do worse than buy 'Survival Korean' by Stephen/Steven Revere. If you're familiar with Arirang TV channel, you'll probably know him already. It's a good read and has a CD - priced 25k from Kyobo. |

The free class at Sookmyung Woman's University is good. It's 1,000 won (not exactly free, but close enough), and these days, they have a good set of teachers, and class sizes have shrunk from their peak time. |
