I'd overstayed in Korea and was physically removed, detained and all. Problem was, I think the school where I worked had set me up, was false and had corrupt connections that caused me to be hired illegally. I don't know.
Now I'm thinking about returning to Korea and was given another job elsewhere. Before I'd applied, I contacted the Korean consulate where I live(back home,) and they'd said there were no records on their computer indicating I coludn't work in Korea anylonger. They gave me the clear.
I just wonder if this is the final word, or if I should contact immigration in Korea. Does anyone have the number to Daegu immigration, or could you get it? I'd sensed something wrong about the whole affair, me getting deported and all, and back home here they say I'm okay to go. What should I do? |
