I just scuttled a PE lesson

So I went to get a couple of girls to work on a skit for an English competition at the beginning of the last block of the day, and the PE teacher decides I can just take the whole class. Wow, now we have set changers and an audience (and the PE teacher has 45 minutes of free time) and the brightest student makes a perfect co-teacher to help translate what's going on and help direct things. I just love the way Korean schools work sometimes. I'll have to remember that the next time one of my lessons get scuttled because the students have to learn putting on hanbok or something like that. It's nice at least to think that English is valued more than PE - I doubt French or Spanish would be at a Canadian or American school....
