Any suggestions on what to watch on ABC TV (Australia)? The best show I've seen so far is "Strictly Dancing."

The mind boggles Shocked

Geez, someone let you out of the looney bin again? Please take your medicine.

All I asked was a question about ABC's programming, and since you don't know jack about it, just shut up and crawl back into your hole.

(insert chuckling) What, no burger flipping loser taunts this time round? Best to stay holed up inside watching TV while in Australia. Aussie's don't take to kindly to your sort and you're apt to get into a spot of biffo with the huge chip you carry around with you.

You mean ABC Asia Pacific?

Check out the talk show "Enough Rope" with Andrew Denton. He's a very sharp cookie and is funny as hell.

Four Corners is a good investigative journalism program.

Yes, I get ABC Asia-Pacific. Is most of the programming Australian?

Yes, but they do have some good U.S and British documentaries now and then. They're currently running an interesting U.S series called "Chiefs" about famous Native American leaders.

Compass has some interesting religious docos on Sunday nites.
They showed the Tennis Masters over the previous two weeks. Sometimes a good sports competition pops up.
Wire in the Blood is popular (British) but I haven't given it a chance. Don't really watch TV any more.

ABC Wednesday nights are the only weekly TV I watch in between sports seasons. Great line-up.

8:30 Spicks n Specks (music quiz show hosted by Adam Hills, Mif Warhurst and Alan Rowe - laugh of the week)
9:00 Kath n Kim
9:30 The Glasshouse (Wil Anderson's an irritating tw^t, but the writers are politically sharp - usually good for a laugh)
10:00 At The Movies (since Margaret n David defected from SBS last year)

These days there's a lot more Australian content. 'Bout bloody time (although Brit comedy is the best in the world IMO, or used to be - eg; League of Gentlemen gets reruns all the time. Love that goony shit).
