I have the English version on its way from The States. Should take about a month. No big deal, but I was wondering if somehow I can (while I wait for my copy to get here) switch the Korean Windows XP OS to the English version? Thanks.

Nope, that is fundamentally impossible. Microsof takes great cares to make sure that you can't do that.

Can't... just impossible. Get an English version install set and reinstall everything.

There's a good write up here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/expert/honeycutt_03april28.mspx

I've seen some users here walk out of the computer store with Korean XP thinking there's some easy little button that will switch the UI to English. When you tell them there simply isn't such an option, they don't believe you. Then they have to go back and buy English XP.

Yeah, always ask for English XP before you buy your computer. Sometimes they will try to install a hacked version, so watch for that. A hacked version will cause you all kinds of problems when you try to get updates.
