Can't wait till this is aired on national TV. My guess is the smart democrats (Hilary) are already distancing themselves from the "Bush Misled Us" gang.

Hiliary has to distance herself.. seems like I recall she was fairly openly in support of it at the time. |

So was Henry Reid. And many others who seemed to get caught up in the giddiness of poll numbers. Hilary is way to cool to flub up like Biden or that uber-idiot Reid.......of Nevada. |

Poll: Dems' barbs hurt troops
THE WASHINGTON POST
November 28, 2005
WASHINGTON - Democrats fumed last week at Vice President Dick Cheney's suggestion that criticism of the administration's war policies was itself becoming a hindrance to the war effort.
But a new poll conducted Nov. 17-20 indicates most Americans are sympathetic to Cheney's point. Seventy percent of people said that criticism of the war by Democratic senators hurts troop morale - with 44 percent saying morale is hurt "a lot," according to a poll taken by RT Strategies.
Even self-identified Democrats agree: 55 percent believe criticism hurts morale, while 21 percent say it helps morale.
The results surely will rankle many Democrats, who argue that it is patriotic and supportive of the troops to call attention to what they believe are deep flaws in President George W. Bush's Iraq strategy. But the survey itself cannot be dismissed as a partisan attack.
The RTs in RT Strategies are Thomas Riehle, a Democrat, and Lance Tarrance, a veteran GOP pollster.
Their poll, which surveyed a representative sample of 1,000 adults nationwide, also indicates many Americans are skeptical of Democratic complaints about the war. Just three of 10 adults accept that Democrats are leveling criticism because they believe this will help U.S. efforts in Iraq. A majority believes the motive is really to "gain a partisan political advantage."
This poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points, is one of the few pieces of supportive news the administration has had lately on Iraq. Most surveys have shown significant majorities believe it was a mistake to go to war, as well as rising sentiment that Bush misled Americans in making the case for it.
Even so, there is still support for Bush's policy going forward. A plurality, 49 percent, believe that troops should come home only when the Iraqi government can provide for its own security, while 16 percent support immediate withdrawal, regardless of the circumstances. |

This is a very simplistic thread that took a partisan ad campaign and pretended it was meaningful.
It has been well-documented in the media already that the info given to congress was far less than that available to the White House and that the White House went about making it that way.
Please.... |

I'm not going to address the video in the OP, since I am not able to view it right now, but:

Indeed.
It's also documented that the intelligence information not shared with Congress was analysis which discredited or put in doubt the information which was shared.
i.e. They only shared the information which supported their position, rather than sharing all of it.
Can you say "cherry-picking", boys and girls?
That Bush misled Congress, the American public, and America's allies isn't a question of a partisan outlook, it's a matter of record and fact. |

My interpretation of what subdubuman's position is this: Once you have taken a position in support of me, even if that support was garnered with erroneous information, you have no right to change your mind later. On the other hand, it is perfectly acceptable for opponents to later change their minds and come over to my side. The first is betrayal and evidence of weak moral character. The second is simply a sign of enlightenment and should be welcomed. |
