Anyone know of sites that have free sheet music where one might be able to find music in four parts for carols like Joy to the World, Oh Come all ye Faithful, and Oh Little Town of Bethlehem?

I'm thinking that since some of my students are talented musically, I should see if I can get them singing in parts.

It is rare that I can contribute something to the Job discussion thread here, but here are a couple of links that might be useful:

I don't know of any sites that would have 4 part harmony written out, I doubt that someone would put that on the net, but there are lots of things I don't know.

If you want just the basic melody with guitar chords head down to your local bookstore and pick up a copy of "Wee Sing - Christmas" .

merry Christmas

do you teach adults or kids? 4 part vocal music will probably only work if half of your class is male with a broken voice! (and it's really hard to get 4 part vocal music to sound good sometimes) 2 part music can work well and still be challenging for the musically talented to sing well!

Thanks a lot for the help. I teach high school girls, but I'm thinking that having an alto and perhaps a metzo soprano refrain might work. Actually, I could probably get the Methodist hymnal on-line or something like that. Anyways, I thought it might be fun fun to see if some of the better singers wanted to practice a bit and perhaps go carolling one day after school.

Cheers for the help!
