Sorry, but either the search engine sucks or I such at using it (or both), and I was wondering if someone could help point me to a thread from a while back about on-line courses. I don't know how useful they'd be but with the amount of free time I have at work I may as well be doing one. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Is it to enhance your career prospects or just for fun?
If it is to enhance your career prospects to be honest mate I think you would be wasting your time and money.

If you intend working at a reputable school/organisation outside of Korea be it Latin America, UK, Europe they won't accept your online qualification.

Maybe one of these is the link you want?

Cheers for that - I'll check out the links. I thought I might do it just to see if it could help. As for Koreans, many of them might not know how worthless such diplomas are (though they're far more impressed by an MA than anything that actually has to do with teaching, in any event).

Agreed. But, if you really want to enhance your future job prospects I would start off with the Trinity TESOL cert or CELTA one month courses.

Look here for info about other online courses: http://www.englishjobmaze.com/qu-ataglance.htm
