Why not "Top 40"? I'd say that's more popular than "Top 3" or "Top 25". (Top 25? never heard of it) Yes, it refers exclusively to pop music, but so what? It's still damn popular. Dammmmn popular.

In university rankings it's all about top 10, top 25, and top 50, those are the tiers people care about. I haven't really cared about pop music since I finished high school so I didn't even think of top 40.
