|
|
I have never had to send a Korean text message before but I do now...
Problem is, the keypad doesn't have all the letters...
Does anyone know how I input letters that are not shown?
TIA. |

There are two systems.
One has all the vowels laid out on separate buttons. Straightforward enough.
The other has you form the vowels with . | and --
So to make you would press |.
 is .|
 is |.|
 is .--|.
and  is .|| |

The phone has the second system, btw. |

You have to "compose" a lot of characters.
*=, **=, #=, etc.. |

Uh, hmm.. I've never seen that system. I could just make by pressing twice. |

Interesting. I use an LG Cyon phone. Just pulled out my old Cyon and
it's the same. More than two systems? I've never seen one with dipthongs. |

| My old Samsung worked the same way as Hater described - I think the Motorola I had here was the same. |

| yeah the samsung one is easier to use but even the LG one isn't bad after a while. also to make into for example you need to press another key, i think the * key if i remember rightly.. just have a mess around with it and you'll soon get the idea. |

Yes, I think the * is equivalent to the 2nd function on a calculator. Took me fookin ages to work it out. |
