I am considering a public school position this spring in Jeollanamdo province. I uncovered a bunch of negative aspects about the provincial program via a search, but the posts were all 2-3 years old. Sounds like a good gig, now, however.

I would appreciate hearing from people currently teaching there, about their experiences, and about the kind of curriculum that is in place. Any info welcome, posted here or PMed.

I don't have any personal experience. But this weekend I met an older guy who was working in a public school down there and he seemed to be very satisfied with this job. He told me that that school area is only recruiting Canadians and using an agency called Canadian Connections.
