Yay! It's snowing!!!!!! I love the snow, it's so pretty! Smile

So I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for Christmas-themed lessons and games. I'm at a new school now (a private school, not a hagwon) and I like it a lot more than the crappy hagwon I used to teach at! We get 3 weeks vacation over Christmas so the next 2 weeks are the last weeks before the vacation and I want to play lots of with Christmas games with my kids! We've already decorated my classroom and I love it!

I miss the kids I used to teach at the hagwon, but that is the ONLY thing I miss about that job! The kids there were adorable but for some reason I couldn't gain their respect. Maybe because I was a foreigner and they only respect Koreans, maybe because I didn't hit them like their Korean teachers do, and my boss "asking" them to be kind to me as soon as I started teaching there didn't help, especially with the older kids. I guess foreign hagwon teachers aren't supposed to be respected.

So anyway, my new job is going a LOT better and I don't know why I stayed at that hagwon for so long (I guess just because I loved the kids so much). I actually have co-workers at my new school (at the hagwon it was just me and the boss), Korean and foreign, and I find them very supportive. It's nice to have other people to talk to while I'm at work and not just the kids.

So what are everyone's Christmas plans? Smile
