I recently just moved to Hwasong city. I was wondering if anyway knows any good places to hang out or things to do. If there is nothing here its ok because I'm pretty close to Suwon. Same question for Suwon city. Thanks

I lived in Suwon for a year. There are some interesting sights around the downtown area, but nothing fantastic. There are some cool places to go in Anyang.

Take a Saturday or a Sunday and walk the length of the Hwaseong fortress. If you bring some food there's a nice little pond you can picnic by about mid-way through. Also, there's the folk village, and the arts center puts on musicals and operas you might be interested in.

I haven't been out and about (that's "oot and aboot" to you Snow Mexicans) in Suwon for ages. But there's a few places that are all right. There's a strip of bars and resteraunts near Suwon station. My favorite is called Beer Storage. The defacto foriegner bar was Pool Bar near Kyeung Hee Univeristy in Youngtong dong.

But yeah, like I said, I haven't been out in ages.
