I am thinking of going to china for studying chinese for like a month. I havent decided even yet where china I can learn Mandarin from. I was thinking a small town where I can stay and hire some chinese college students who can teach me chinese like a month. I want to learn Mandarin. I really have no idea from where to start with my china trip since I have no information where to go but I am planing on leaving to china as soon as possible.

How much will it cost for homestay?

How much will it cost for hiring chinese teachers( college studetns?

What area is the best for learning chinese?

Please input any information about china as soon as possible. I really appreciate for your help.

I've been told that it is better to go to Taiwan to learn to speak mandarin..

I don't believe Chinese people do homestay...

College students? 10 bucks an hour is more than enough.

Area... well, all major cities up North, like Beijing, Qindao and Shanghai. Don't go South, they don't really speak Mandarin down South.
