What is that?
I just heard of a friend who went to Gangnam and went to a 'sexy bar'.
The others were talking about how its the latest fad, particularly prevalant around Jonggak in particular - from what I heard.
No one could really give me a clear answer what it was exactly.
Anyone been to one? Or heard of them? Apparently they began to originate around 1-3 months from what I understand, and really sprouting up everywhere suddenly. |

They've been around a lot longer than that. Their waitresses are too sexy. |

Right.
Not the ideal place to take your date, is it? Then again, I suppose it doesn't hurt to stir the competitive juices now & then. |

Sexy bar? Don't you mean skanky bar?
That's kind of what I expected Ho Bar to be like. |

there's a bar called "Bikini university" near Gwanghwamun, and those "Better Than Beer" bars are sprouting up, I'm guessing that's what we're talking about right? |

The Joongang Daily seems to claim they're "cosplay" bars. Yeah, no sex or maybe even nudity. I hope these women get tips.
What's the deal on this "Better than Beer" place. I saw an ad for that place in that Coco coupon book and it looked like a Korean Hooters. |

It's alright.. like everyone says it's overpriced etc. But, if you go there like once and like the atmosphere than it might be worth the 7000 won beer. |
