Does anybody here have any experience being stalked by a Korean? Or being stalked in general (especially by a woman)? This isn't a question about me, I'm asking it for (cough) my friend. What do you do in such a situation? How did you resolve it? What do you say that doesn't make them more crazy and gets them to leave you alone?
I have a feeling that a police report would do nothing but cause a hearty round of chuckling down at the station, and my friend (cough) doesn't wanna go down that route anyways. But its getting that bad. So what then?
I, uh, I mean, my friend, is a pretty laidback guy, but he's starting to get to his wits end with this situation. He'd really appreciate some good advice. |

I was stalked by a woman when I lived in Montreal. No biggie, as I only clued into it a short time before I moved away. How long does he have in Korea? |

I'll be the first to say it, being stalked by a crazy girl is no fun. Its scary. Male stalkers tend to be creepy, but girl stalkers are dangerous. They will cut your break lines (happened on my grand am), they will tell people that YOU hurt THEM, they will do everything they can to mess you over. My advice is send no emails to her or call her or meet her, those are all evidence that she can twist against you. If you get something from her, keep it- evidence again. Barring moving, you may have to tuck in and bear the storm. Note these things come from American experience with a girl stalker, I have no idea what K-girl stalkers are like. |

I would ask if your (cough) friend had sexual relations with her, and is now trying to break it off. If that is not the case, then tell your (cough) friend to tell her to that he isnt available or is gay, or into pyuntae stuff or whatever. However if you... err..., your (cough) friend did her, and made promises, then he may be in for a bad time. Once this HK chick stalked me (and I didnt even do her), and it only stopped when I moved to Japan. |

The one who stalked me was totally harmless, just a bit annoying at times. This despite the fact that she's one of the physically strongest women I've met (we were on the same track team and used to work out together). But if I ever yelled or spoke harshly to her she'd break down and start bawling. Don't start fearing for your life just yet ... I mean don't let your (cough) friend start fearing for his life just yet. |

When I first moved out here, I was stalked by some chick.
It got really bad and I wanted to end the relationship with her, but she would pull of psycho things, like coming to my house at 4am, drunk as hell and causing a ruckus!!!
So I worked my plan of being as vile as I could... this included being a total pervert, farting everywhere, taking a dump with the bathroom door open, etc... it didn't work.
So I came up with the master plan. I told her my sister was coming to visit me and that I wouldn't be able to see her. So for about a week I didn't hear from her and she called one day, and I happened to be with my cousin and he answered the phone (he's native Korean) and told the chick I had moved back to the US due to some family emergency.
I also sent her an e-mail to confirm the story my cousin told her. Never bothered by her again... |

I heard stalking is fairly common here. Seems that the mentality is that persistance pays off. My co-worker received this advice on dating women- chop a tree a hundred times, and eventually it falls. |

Thanks for the post, seoulshock, that's what I'm looking for. I have to laugh because my friend tried acting like contemptible slob for a while too and that didn't work for him either. If it gets much worse, it might be a good idea to disappear from this country, in truth or in fiction. Now is there anybody out there who was able to resolve this kind of situation with a long conversation followed by a firm handshake? |

Maybe this will teach you and your pent-up youngblood Yellow Flu Asian-crusader friends to think before you stick your dicks into the nearest passing things with nice legs....
My guess would be you manipulated her emotions quite a bit in order for things to become this extreme...
I hope nobody actually has any sympathy for this pathetic horny ass clown..
You reap what you sow. |
