Only 1 in 3 Koreans in Good Health
Only one out of three Koreans are in good health, according to a report released on Monday. The report showed that 34.89 percent of those who took the medical checkup were in good health...
The average height of men among the medical checkup takers was 169.77 cm, while that of women was estimated at 156.54 cm. Men's average weight was 63.94kg and with women at 55.87kg.

| No doubt! Have you seen the number of men who smoke here and the drinking! I've been amazed by the amount of alcohol individuals consume on a daily basis. I can't remember 1 time that I've gotten on the subway and not smelled alcohol on someone. |

thats actually quite shocking. so much for big fat unhealthy westeners.
i guess more cushin' for the pushin' doesn't quite measure up to drinking 32787342472 bottles of soju a day.
good thing they have ginseng and kimchi!
btw, old people really bring the height average down, eh? |

Don't they, though. I'm taller than the average given and I'm still the shortest one around. Ten years ago I had a class of middle-age guys. I was the tallest in the room, a major new experience for me.
I'd like to see the heights broken down into age ranges. These young guys are tall by my standards. |
