Does anyone know the where-abouts of the Dublin Irish Bar in Bundang?
I have recently arrived and was told of this new bar owned by an Irish guy. Is it a real Irish bar or a Korean attempt? Will it be open over Christmas, is it woth going? and does anyone have directions or better still a tel-no. Finally do they sell draught Guinness?
I guess my plans for Chrismas Eve night are no secret now. Thanks.

I have friends that sometimes go there, they seem to like it. I've been there once and the guy who owns the bar is quite kind. I can't really tell ya if they'll be open over Christmas or if they have Guiness of tap (I think they do), but I can give you directions to get there.

It's at Samsung Plaza at Seohyun station. If you're coming from the subway, go up the escalator to the main floor, turn left and go out the far set of doors. On your right you'll see a KFC on your left there's an Adidas store. If you see a Krispy Kreme you've gone out the wrong side. On the correct side you'll also see an ABC Mart (shoe store). Dublins is in the building just past that. I think it's on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

No Guinness on tap.

Bar is co-owned between him and a Korean, so it has its bad sides.

Slightly pricy, but yeah, the guy is really nice.

Yes there is Guinness on tap. The tap went in around the middle of August, it's been there a while.

Thanks for the info Guys, especially Sarah. I have located the area where it is and also a tel no. There is even live music on Wednesday nights. I still don't know if the guy is really Irish or if he is really the owner that always makes a big difference to the Guinness quality which I am told is definitely available on tap. I will post a verdict after tonight.

Yes one of the owners, Joe, is Irish. He co-owns the bar with his Korean friend Sun-Kyung. Joe isn't around a lot these days, but regardless, he still is the co-owner of the bar, and he is truly from Ireland.

The bar, however, is in reality a Korean hof with some Irish decorations, some Guinness on tap, and a genuine Irish guy walking around now and again. There's a big potential for the place, but ..... it's lacking something.

Yeah, I think the price of drinks is the problem. Why go there when you can go to Monkey Beach. So much cheaper...but I haven't been there in ages. The doorboy/barboy Fro is so adorable though.

Hmm. Same prices as an Irish bar? Irish music? Live Irish music?

Anyway, I'll get my ass there at one point.
