Gang,

Not sure if we still have our little get-togethers, but I'd like to have one.

We had one in Song-tan two years ago that I pushed heavily for and it came to fruition...only, it happened the night I left Korea to move Stateside.

Raincheck?

Wife and I are coming back for business and holiday (we're moving back "soon"...almost done with school!!!!), but I'd like some fun whilst there!

Some other members have already displayed some interest, but I'd like to make this bigger....

For those not familiar with Songtan...it's like a mini-Itaewon (minus the jarheads and narstiness) in Osan, Choongcheongnam-do. Unfortunately, Chickenhead closed....but I am sure something just as interesting has since filled its shoes.

Nice hotels are cheap and we had good times several times there. Hope to have The Expert, Gajackson, to accompany us again!

We'll be in Korea for just 2 to 3 weeks...starting December 10th, but not sure how jet-lag will set in....so maybe after the 10th? Also, many of the university instructors are heading out on holiday during this time, so maybe the logistics will be near impossible to balance.

Ideas?

Game?

!Shoosh,

Ryst

I'm here until December 15th and then winter vacation begins for the mass majority of university teachers in Korea..

If possible, try to arrange before the 14th, and I'll definetely meet up down there. By the 15th, I'll be in the real Philippines! Cool

But would love to meet up again in Songtan.

You know I'll be there. Got some bad news, though. Chicken Head is gone.

TB and Zyz...I knew I could count on you kiddies...but, TB...this time hang with us a bit more mate! Laughing

Zyz...don't you teach reading comp for the TOEFL? I mentioned Chicken Head closed...alas, G-man will be able to steer us in the direction of the hard-to-find fine establishments...

Nonetheless, I've already gotten some PMs about a hook-up...maybe I'll just take mad amounts of sleeping pills (not too many, of course...don't want the misses to collect my life insurance yet!) and crash through the whole flight (Atlanta, GA to Incheon!)...then be able to p.a.r.t.y. Saturday December 10th (my birthday no less!).

Well, I guess this just may be a go....

No, not anymore. Evil or Very Mad Didn't see that the first time.

Anytime is good for me on the weekends. When you have the date set in stone (unless you're really planning to do things on the 10th), let me know, and I'll try to convince the Chica to come as well.

I'm up for it...although after I get outside of West Daegu and Downtown Daegu, I am lost...perhaps someone could meet me at the Seoul Station?

One of these days I'll make it to one of these things.

Poet. Don't go all the way to Seoul. Go to Suwon or Cheonan and take the subway.

A bit too early for my arrival, as we don't even land until 17:20 on the 10th. I'd be able make it by 9 pm I suppose.

Is Sunday doable? I'd wager 'no' as there are still those working...hmmm. Logistics logistics logistics....

Any ideas gang?

Btw- is Leslie Cheswick making it out too? Hotel Cheonan is...

Sunday would work out great for me.. Sunday afternoon..

I'm just recalling how things died down quite a bit around midnight or so.. but how lively it was during the daytime/evening hours.

Either way actually.. if Saturday.. (Ryst's birthday).. then some of us could get together earlier and just have a continued feed of when people can come in, to come in.

Will Lord and Lady Jackson be in attendance? I think we might be able to attend this soiree, this time. I also need to buy a number of rounds for a certain L. Zyzyfer for missing his recent birthday festivities.

Sunday's not that great. I'd rather see it on Saturday and you take your time getting out and I can be plastered beforehand.
