The US refusing to be a signatory to the International Criminal Court isn't helping the world much either hey. And she's complaining about them "shirking their duty"? Oh the irony. |

Saddam is not going to get a fair trial, his first set of lawyers were shot. If it had been the judge or prosecutors there would have been mass media coverage and an outcry. We are not treating him in a fair and just manner. Everyone knows he is guilty so why not be fair and treat him to the honest trial possible. Justice will prevail and he will be sentanced. If we can not provide a fair trial here what is it we are doing 'liberating' countries and subjecting them to our 'justice'.
Well other than getting whooping private contracts for our buddies.
War it makes financial sense!!!
P.S Does anybody envisage a problem 20 years down the line when the new government is just as bad and the US government arms another Saddam, Bin Laden or Pinochet to get rid of the latest government they don't like?
Just me then? |
