Hey, my name is Dan and I was wondering if anyone was an Anime fan in Korea and would like to start up a club to watch it sometime. I have a huge collection of stuff like Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Speed Grapher, Full Metal Panic, Miyazaki, Monster, Jigouku Shoujo, Hanada, Suzuki. I watch a large range of anime rather than just the stereotypical cyborgs and guns.

I am in the Gangnam area. You can email me at [email protected]

I don't think I will ever find I series that I will like as I much as I liked Cowboy Bebop... It's really the only one I've ever gotten into. That one was a masterpiece. If there is ANYTHING out there remotely as great, I'd give it a shot, but I've mostly given up....

Ah yeah, and I don't care much for what I've seen of Shinichiro Watanabe's follow-up... Samurai Champloo. The hip-hop soundtrack and incessant jiggity-scratch sound effects annoyed me to no end... The whole anachronistic thing is fine, but it just wasn't working for me with that series... Only saw a few eps, though.

Anyways, I think I just loved Bebop so much because the soundtrack OWNED and the characters weren't all just attitude (which is what I'm getting from the new one...)

Cowboy Bebop was my favorite for years, but I must say that Full Metal Alchemist is pretty miraculous. It has a great story, characters and a wonderful sense of intelligence. The music is awesome too. I've got the whole soundtrack and it is really cool.

Bleach was cool for like the first 30 episodes or so, but then it started to suck. It's getting better with the whole Aizen storyline. I agree though, nothing has had the inital impact of Cowboy Bebop.

get the torrent files. I can't promise they are in English, usually they just have the subtitles.

Can you promise me they won't be in English? Wink

Dubs typically sound ridiculous... I pretty much always prefer the subtitles anyways. Out of perverse curiosity I turned on the English dub on my Cowboy Bebop- Heaven's Door DVD, and could only handle it for about five minutes.

Anyways, I'll definitely give the Full Metal Alchemist one a go, if not simply just because of the name... I just gave my gf an I-Station for her birthday- now I know what she's gonna put on it!

I checked your blog and I wanted to say that I'm trying to get Rent right now as a torrent, but I'm not having too much luck. As for Eternal Sunshine, I have a really good copy of it. I just got Flightplan and Lord of War or whatever it is...(I haven't watched it yet.)

I love big robots too, but it's like the stereotype that anime always alludes to.

There are so many different genres. For example Yakitate is about baking bread and it's really interesting. I really like some of the cutesy ones too like Hanada. I like it all, I guess.

Evangelion used to be one of my faves, but watching it now just gives me chills. Oh, has anyone seen Beating Angel Dokura-chan? It's CRAZY FUNNY.
