A bunch of Korean idiots jumped into Victoria harbor in Hongkong, attempting to swim across the harbor the the Hong Kong Convention Center. Don't worry, though, I'm told the harbor police fished them out pretty quick.

There are lots of photos in this Yahoo! news slideshow:

Hmmmmm....you won't drink the water from your own faucets but you'll jump in Hong Kong's harbor. Cognitive dissonance. Why am I getting a headache?

I thought it was kind of funny where the HK police's #1 fear were the Korean farmers. "Oh jesus, those people are batty as all Christ."

Hong Kong papers drew up an official score-sheet of an hours-long battle between Koreans and HK police. During the scuffle the Koreans managed to size a number of police shields and helmets, which they all returned to the police at the end of the demonstration. After all, they wouldn't want to make a bad impression, would they?

For a group of people whose livelihood is on the line, the whole thing seems like an extravagant waste of time and money. As if the WTO delegates don't already have enough on their plate. There are way too many unilateral agendas clashing for anyone to seriously pay attention to the protestations of anti-globalist Korean farmers.

How about the ROK finally steps up to the plate as a global food aid donor? The government could subsidise their farmers to grow the crops, and consequently they will always be guaranteed a market regardless of import tariffs.

My favorite was watching the Koreans protesters recoil in pain from the pepper spray.

I would think that Koreans would be able to deal with peppers better-

A bunch of idiots wasting HongKong taxpayers money.

Over all not a good week for Dae Han Min Kuk-
