LOL...too true. Even DVDs can be too crisp. Whenever I watch desperate housewives I try to blur my vision whenever they do facial closeups! Knocks off 10 or so years.

I work in broadcasting - this is a big problem. Besides actors, cheesy sets and effects that used to pass now look horrible. The costs are skyrocketing.

But there is no way Catherine Zeta Jones is "flawless" on Hi-Def: I don't know what that guy was watching.

They will just soften the hell out of the HDTV image, just like they do on Oprah. That show looks like it was shot through half a can of vaseline.
