Well I'm heading there shortly. Have any of you had jabs before going..or not?
Last time I did Thai, Laos, Vietnam, cambodia etc without any vaccinations- same time of year..and i was fine.
is it necessary do you think?
Checking offical govt websites..there are several recommended, but none required as such..
I'm going to be staying in hotels too. Not drinking drainwater in slums.. |

I've been to Thailand and the Philippines twice each and didn't get any shots beforehand. |

I highly recommend you get your hep A B shots before traveling or living in Asia.
Check the CIA website for outbreaks of disease updates to see if it is worth getting vaccinated for various other diseases. |

All you really need are Hep A & B, as the poster above said. If you are from Canada, you probably are immune. Go to a doctor and get a blood test, they can find out if you are immune to Hep A & B before you get the shots (if u forget if u already got the shots).. |
