Daves ESL,

Alright guys here is my question. I am under a time crunch and will arrive to start my job in Korea Jan. 5th, leaving Jan. 4th. I am working a camp for my employer, then starting work. They told me I do not have sufficient time to apply for a E2 visa. So I must get the C4, then once in Korea I can obtain the E2.

Will I have to leave the country to obtain the E2 visa, or can I upgrade it directly from a C4 to a E2 without leaving Korea?

Thanks Davers!

You will have to leave Korea to change from C-4 (tourist) to E-2.
