I really wish I had thought of this sooner, but it didn't hit me until tonight. I'm going home for Christmas vacation in a couple of days and I just got paid. Unfortunately, a big chunk of my money is in bank certificates. So my question is this: is there any chance that the money changer back in the US is going to accept these, or should I try and get bill money for it? Better yet, should I try exchanging some money at the airport here?
Or should I just avoid going to the money changers at the airport altogether and borrow some money from my family until I can get back and find a better way to exchange/wire the money home? Quick help would be most appreciated. |

I would be really surprised if the exchanger accepted it. Any bank should be able to cash them for you without a problem. Just hit up a bank before you head to the airport |

If by "bank certificates" you mean su-pyo cheques, then the currency exchange places at the airport will change them no problem. |
