Can anyone tell me whether i have to pay to see a doctor if i walk into a hospital off the street. I don't think i've had any money deducted from my wages for health insurance so i don't think i actually have any. It's a skin condition i have on my hand that steriod cream should take care of but i wanted a doctor to take a look at it to prescribe the correct strength of cream.

You'll have to pay something, but it probably won't be very much. Ask your director about health insurance too,

I'm sure you already figured this out, but if you don't have health insurance and the health insurance card that goes with it, you will pay a bunch more than if you had one.
