In the last few months, several guys I have known in Korea, have made the mistake of lending money to k.girls; only to have the girl disappear off the map right after. Lucky for me, I am too much of a cold-hearted penny-pincher to go for that, but just a heads up to the guys who are a bit suckerish; maybe this is a funny trend in the k.girl community right now, as I have heard a few stories about it.
"Ha, ha, ha! Yah, two-million! How much did you ask him for?" |

Seems to me when it comes to lending money to people the old saying always applies
'never lend more than you are willing to part with' |

Not just K-girls. Don't lend money to anyone unless they are a long standing, trusted friend.
I never lend money... but i have leant it to friends previously- large amounts.
i had this one maye at uni. we bagan lending eachother like 20 bucks to begin with. After 3 years we were quite comforatable handing over $1000 or so if the other needed it. And got it back. of course the only problem being you may not get it back precisely when you want it.
k-girls have a tradition of recieving money from Boyfriends as gifts. Its not seen as something they have to return, in a country where men are the breadwinners. |

| Maybe that's why my (K-female) boss hasn't been paying my salary... she feels comfortable owing me? |

I wouldn't give a K-girl money unless:
***(Working= AT work at that exact time)
1. She is working in a store
2. She is working in an eatery or drinking hole of some type.
3. She is working under a red light
If there is no service being rendered, the money is not changing hands. |
