I had a student read this old rhyme the other day.

Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace
Wednesday's child is full of woe
Thursday's child has far to go
Friday's child is loving and giving
Saturday's child works for its living
And a child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay.

Then i realised I didn't know what day I was born on...To find out what day of the week you were born on go to the perpetual calendar:

And yes, I am definitely loving and giving Wink What are you?

Nope, not I. I was born on Wednesday and while I've had my sad moments, I'm a pretty positive person.

I do fit my astrological signs though... both Western & Eastern. Laughing

saturday, september 3rd, 1977

I don't think I fit "works for a living"... I am certainly paying my dues at present with this miserable job in Korea, but in normal circumstances I've pursued my interests like working abroad and going to grad school, rather than buckling down and doing the old fashioned work ethic kind of thing. I may be somewhat of a slacker.

Interesting. I'm a Wednesday. I guess I fit the profile. Definitely fit Capricorn and Snake.
My boy's a Thursday. "Far to go?" He's going to go far in life? He's far from his hometown? Mollayo.

loving and giving? I don't think so. However, I am a pretty good mix of astrological signs-vain, proud and stubborn.

This year, my birthday falls on Easter Sunday.

Quite appropriate, I'd say.
