I'll be at the Incheon airport waiting for a New Zealand-bound flight which'll be somewhere above the south pacific come midnight.

I actually haven't the faintest idea what I was doing on New Year's Eve my last two years in Korea.

At least this year it'll be memorable.

What about you?

Most hogwan slaves will be teaching at least until 9:00. You might try getting the slave driver you work for to let you take your classes out to dinner.

I don't know. I've never spent one here before. I'm scared. Scared that it will just be another drunken weekend night. Oh well, with every passing year the night seems less and less special every time.

A whole bunch of people from my work are going to go to Hyatt Grand party this year, with music from the shibuya-playing Fantastic Plastic Machine. Apparently, it's 50,000Won in advance, but someone told me it was all you-can-drink. I need to confirm that part, as that doesn't sound like a Hyatt function. I might end up going to Pete Tong at COEX, though.
