I have been looking for a school calendar, can anyone tell me when School holidays are?
Is it easy to get some time off when you dont have holidays too?
Thanks |

Do you mean national holidays? Go to a book store and buy a calendar. Holidays are the red letter days.
If you mean your particular school's holidays, then ask someone in the office of your school or a co-teacher. Each school has certain special days for them alone, like the 'school foundation day' holiday. There is not just one school calendar for all the schools in the country.
Is it easy to get days off when it is not a holiday? What do you think? Who will teach your classes? There are not a lot of substitutes around to step in and fill in. It isn't done much here except in emergencies. If you remember school back home, teachers there seldom take personal days off. It's too much work to do all the lesson planning for another teacher. |
