Lets hear them..

I have almost ZERO.

Went to FUKUOKA once and drank two nights at HAPPY COCK.. bunch of expat western english teachers from Korea on visa runs.. no Japanese around.

Went to KYOTO and hit the bars there.. ended up walking around drinking from vending machines with some other foreigners.. went to PIG WHISTLE or something like that.. very uneventful.

Where are the good places in Osaka or Tokyo or elsewhere.. and what were the experiences.. I'm inching for some stories here on Japanese nightlife!

hey, you can all post even if nothing happens..

Actually thats what I'm trying to figure out. People always talk about how amazing Japan is for going out and everything else. But I've yet to ever hear of any eventful story at all from all the many teachers in Korea who've been there.

Most people have the same story. They walked around.. hit up a few vending machines.. went to the normal bar with inflated expensive prices.. was uneventful and then went back to Korea.

i haven't spent enough time in japan (or had enough cash) to have stories about nightlife there. i know in osaka, the namba and shinshibashi areas are where it's at and in tokyo, ropponggi is the big nightlife area. i would love to get out there and check it out.
