|
|
Does anyone remember the Simspons episode where they went to the airport without any idea of where they were going and waited to get cheap tickets to anywhere? Then they ended up going to Japan because that was the cheapest and first available flight?
I'm thinking about doing it for Lunar New Year. I'm just gonna pack my bag full of beach clothes, go to the airport, see if I can get cheap tickets to anywhere and probably end up in Northern Russia. Is it possible to do?? How do you do it? Has anyone tried this and had success doing it?? (by it, I mean getting cheap tickets....not going to Northern Russia) |

I wish you well, but I don't think anything is cheap at Lunar New Year, especially not air travel. From what I can tell the airlines pretty much inflate all their prices, because they're nice like that.
But good luck, and let us know how you get on. |

I've kind of tried that.
Last week we just showed up at Bangkok airport wanting to fly to either Phuket or Krabi. We made it onto a waiting list and got a flight after 2 hours. No savings though... we had to pay full price and round trip was not an option.
Good luck ... I hope you get somewhere cool. I love the idea myself. |
